Debbie
Bishop’s The Fairies of Bladderwhack Pond will debut
at the upcoming American International Toy Fair with a unique
brand that adds a twist to the normally sweet and pastel infant
and toddler market.
The humorous,
contemporary fairytale about three misfit fairies from the
wrong side of the pond who unwittingly unravel an ancient
mystery that sends them on a dangerous adventure. Braving
hungry trolls, a fire-breathing dragon and A-list socialite
"Periwinkle" fairies wielding the latest fashions and lip-gloss,
they save a kind and loving fairy from a wicked witch with
really bad hair. The three unlikely heroes discover they donŐt
need to "fit in" for when they follow their hearts and just
be themselves they can make magic happen. FAIRIES is the perfect
book for family, children and tweens. Reading level 8-14.
